JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

As a special education teacher at Humleskolan, you will work at the individual, group, and organizational levels based on both a preventive and promoting as well as a remedial perspective. This may involve working with students individually, in smaller groups, or within the framework of regular teaching.

Part of the position includes teaching in our special education group. You will work to find strategies to reach each student and strengthen them in their knowledge development. You will collaborate with other educators, the school's student health team, and special educators.

You will create a safe and inclusive learning environment and support, motivate, and stimulate students' knowledge development through varied working methods based on their individual conditions.

In your teaching, you will make a difference for our students by believing in their abilities, encouraging creativity and curiosity, and making it clear to each student that they can succeed in both big and small ways. You will work based on proven experience and research and strive for students to have the best possible development.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who:

• Is a certified teacher with further training as a special education teacher, specializing in mathematics or Swedish.
• Has good competence to work with students with NPF and mapping support needs.
• Has a good ability to collaborate and create good relationships with students, guardians, colleagues, and management as well as with external actors.
• Is confident and attentive with a very good ability to guide and motivate.
